Announced Destinations: Where McKinney Flies First

Secondary-market airports typically launch with leisure destinations before adding business routes — and McKinney's confirmed lineup follows that pattern exactly.

Orlando (5x weekly) and Fort Lauderdale (5x weekly) lead the schedule in frequency, followed by Las Vegas and Tampa (4x weekly each) and Fort Myers (2x weekly). The five routes launch on a staggered schedule, not all at once: Fort Myers on November 11, Las Vegas and Orlando on November 12, and Fort Lauderdale and Tampa on November 19, all on Avelo Airlines.

These routes are confirmed, not speculative — Avelo and the City of McKinney announced them jointly on June 30, 2026, and fares are now open for booking on Avelo's site.
